Chris is the founding owner of Asheville Fungi. He is a self taught mycologist that began cultivating mushrooms at the age of 16.
Since this humble beginning, Chris has continuously expanded his knowledge of mycology, giving him nearly 20 years of experience.
He continues to be a teacher and mentor to many folks who are interested in and share his passion for growing mushrooms for food, medicine and profit.
Sarah has a deep passion for the Farm to Table movement. She currently runs her own culinary spice company, Well Seasoned Table.

Corr de Joch
Corr is our resident Renaissance Man. In his time away from Asheville Fungi he recently wrote, directed, and starred in Roman Meal a play put on during the 2017 Fringe Festival. He is also our official Asheville Fungi comedian. He also makes cheese.
He assists Chris with the day to day operation of our Grow Room, including inoculating bulk substrate, and our general dirty jobs specialist.
