(Laetiporus sulphureus)
A wild clone (from Western North Carolina) good for log and stump culture. This strain was found in the same spot in spring, summer, and fall. This 3 season Chicken of the Woods is unique indeed!
Also known as "Sulphur Shelf," this is a favorite among many, which can be cultivated on stumps and buried logs.

We recommend taking our sterile culture plate, and making as many plates as you can from it, as well as several slants. We can easily get forty wedges from one plate! If you ever lose the strain, we will replace it for $20 indefinitely!
* To ensure the highest quality we make plates to order (avg. turnaround time is 2-4 weeks)
